Rugby League Business Network announce Kick-Off Reception supporters
The Rugby League Business Network has announced its first major event will be supported by Spitfire Ale and the Number One Sports Bar.
The network’s Kick-Off Reception is taking place in the House of Commons on July 14, and provides the first event for members to meet one another, network and socialise. Spitfire Ale will be available at the event, with the Number One Sports Bar supplying soft drinks and logistical support.
The Rugby League Business Network is free to join and has been created to bring the business community together through shared passion for rugby league. Founder Mark Ramsdale made the announcement and gave some insight into the network’s first members, saying “we are grateful to Spitfire Ale and the Number One Sports Bar for their support. Alongside our founding partner Pcubed, they enable the network to offer free events to members.”
Membership is also free and the since launching in late June, the network has seen people join from all over the UK, as well as places such as Prague and Sydney.
Ramsdale continued: “The majority of those who have joined so far work in the finance or legal sectors and director is the most common role title. We also ask people to let us know which clubs they support and there’s a wide range at all levels, from the community game through to those in Super League and the NRL.
“The network is designed to be inclusive and we encourage everyone, particularly our members, to invite colleagues, friends and family to join or sign up to our LinkedIn group. The more people involved, the more we can do.”
