A new business network has been created with a focus on rugby league. Called simply The Rugby League Business Network, it is designed to bring people together through their passion for the sport.
The Rugby League Business Network is free to join and open to all. It will hold events and activities suited to the business community – from seminars and networking receptions to dinners and tables and boxes at major rugby league events.
The network has been created by Parliamentary Rugby League Group Secretariat and Director of the Pcubed Rugby League Varsity Match, Mark Ramsdale. Launching the network, he said “the Rugby League Business Network has been created to foster relationships between like-minded people and businesses who love the game. Its focus is to engage the business community to support one another, their work and businesses, and ultimately the game itself.”
The first major event for the Rugby League Business Network is its Kick-Off Reception in the House of Commons on July 14. Any member of the network is able to attend but numbers are strictly limited so anyone hoping to attend should register early.
The week before, on the morning of State of Origin III, July 9, Wigan’s Blake Green will be speaking at a State of Origin III breakfast at the Number One Sports Bar in City Road, London.
