Following its successful launch in the UK, the Rugby League Business Network has announced it will be launching in Australia and New Zealand during the upcoming Four Nations.
Events will be taking place in Queensland, New South Wales and New Zealand in late October and early November as well as an event in central London. Details are being finalised but dates are secured and people can register their interest in attending or book for the London event.
Rugby League Business Network Founder Mark Ramsdale said “Such was the positive response to the network when we launched, we decided to move plans forward and the Four Nations represents a great opportunity to bring people together.”
The Network uses LinkedIn to power people’s connections and a series of subgroups have been created based on region which have helped generate interest in the network and create connections for people. Currently New South Wales has the most members, followed by London. Ramsdale continued “LinkedIn is a great way for people to connect with each other in a professional capacity. The subgroups have been set up to provide a regional connection, supported by the overarching opportunities the main international group brings.”
Grand Final Reception
Before then, there is the small matter of the Grand Final. Courtesy of international Law Firm Pinsent Masons, the Rugby League Business network is holding an event on the eve of the Grand Final (October 10) in their spectacular offices overlooking the Manchester skyline.
Members will have the opportunity to meet one another, discuss opportunities and hear analysis of the road to the Grand Final from Lee Briers and Mike Stephenson.
